Safe School Teen Ambassadors

The Texas School Safety Center is excited to announce the 2025 School Safety Art Contest - Art in Action: Imagining Safe Schools for All. Whether it's through the lens of safety, kindness, diversity, or accessibility, we want to see how Texas youth envision a safe and healthy school environment.

What's the prize?

All submissions will be entered for a chance to be featured at the 2025 Texas School Safety Conference where thousands of teachers, administrators, school resource officers, and school safety professionals will gather to work together towards creating safe learning environments.

How to Enter:

  1. Select a prompt to answer.
  2. Create your artwork inspired by the theme “Imagining Safe Schools for All.”
  3. Fill out the submission form.
  4. Upload high-resolution images of your work.

Contest Prompts:

  • Prompt 1: What's the biggest problem you and/or your peers experience at school?
  • Prompt 2: What does a safe school look like to you?
  • Prompt 3: What does your safe place from stress and worries look like?

Guidelines:

  • Open to all students in 6th - 12th grade.
  • Students may submit an entry for one, two or all three prompts.
  • Artwork should reflect the theme of the contest.
  • A maximum of 3 photos per entry will be accepted.
  • Photos of artwork should be taken in high resolution.
  • Photos should be submitted as JPEG or PDF files only (No Videos).

Submission Deadline:
