The Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Toolkit serves as a directory of resources to connect schools, parents, youth, and adults to help combat fentanyl usage among youth. The toolkit provides information on current Texas laws, education and outreach programs, educational modules and videos, awareness campaigns, tools for educators, information about naloxone and several other resources.

Section 1.0: State and National Organizations

This section provides access to various resources and awareness campaigns from state and national organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), and more. This section also provides access to review the fentanyl-related legislation that was passed during the 88th Texas Legislative Session.
Section 2.0: Educator and Parent Tools

This section provides access to educational resources, lesson plans and activities, and presentations that educators can implement in the classroom or community setting. This section also provides access to tools for parents who are looking for tips on having conversations about fentanyl and other opioids with their child.
Section 3.0: Educational Videos

This section provides access to a collection of video resources from national, state, and non-profit agencies. Videos include podcasts, documentaries, and online education modules covering the impacts of fentanyl across the state and nation.
Section 4.0: Naloxone Resources

This section provides access to information about naloxone and its role in responding to an opioid overdose. Resources include sites for ordering naloxone, educational training, and toolkits for correct administration.
Section 5.0: Downloadable Resources

This section provides access to download a variety of resources that have been featured throughout the toolkit. Resources include campaign materials, awareness tools, and educational fact sheets on the dangers of fentanyl.
