School district planning teams must look at each hazard, threat, and potential response to assess what resources may be needed. They can collaborate with School Safety and Security Committee members, local first responders, and local emergency management staff to locate those resources. They must meet with the districts, agencies, or entities with which they will partner and seek a formal commitment. The appropriate agreement format will be selected, prepared, and executed. These agreements are reviewed and renewed annually or as needed.
