New Registry Notice

A new process for applying to be placed on the Texas School Safety and Security Consultant Registry is being developed to comply with changes to law mandated by SB11. Subsection (d) of Texas Education Code Sec. 37.2091 now requires the Texas School Safety Center to verify the qualifications of all persons included in the registry.

UPDATE 11/17/2021: After consideration of public input, we have changed the concept of the new Texas School Safety and Security Consultant Registry (Registry). Thank you to everyone who provided comments to assist us in the formulation of the Registry. We appreciate your patience as we make the process worthwhile for end users.

A new registry website will be published once our team is finished beta testing and incorporating stakeholder feedback. The new website will detail process information for both the consultant and school community audiences.
