Effective Date: June 14, 2021. This applies only to student identification cards issued on or after June 14, 2021.

Requires that public school student identification cards issued to grade six or higher students have printed contact information for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, the Crisis Text Line, and may also include contact information for a local suicide prevention hotline if one is available.

Requires that institution of higher education student identification cards have printed contact information for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, the Crisis Text Line, and may also have the contact information for a local suicide prevention hotline if one is available. The identification cards may also have the contact information for the campus police department, campus security, local nonemergency police, campus health clinic, or local health clinic.
