Welcome to the Texas School Safety Center's Evacuation and Shelter-in-Place Toolkit. This Toolkit includes resources from multiple organizations and agencies to assist you with accomplishing multi-hazard emergency operations planning for your school district, open-enrollment charter school, or public junior college. Below, you will find a link to the Evacuation and Shelter-in-Place Annex course, a list of annex and appendix documents, trainings, and additional resources. As future research is conducted, resources in this Toolkit will be updated.
Please Note: If the course is still under development, the course link will not yet be active; when the course is available, existing resources in this Toolkit may change and additional resources may be added. If you have any suggestions for additional resources to include in this Toolkit, please contact the Texas School Safety Center.
This toolkit supports the Evacuation and Shelter-in-Place Annex online course, linked below, that will assist you with creating your district's Evacuation and Shelter-in-Place Annex using the template created by the Texas School Safety Center.
