- This Communicating Through Crisis Flipbook was designed to help districts and schools communicate with parents, staff, and other stakeholders in a timely, consistent, and effective way during incidents that affect a school community. For each topic, we provided a full-length email, a phone script, and a text message template that can be adapted to local needs and circumstances.
Note: These sample templates should be customized to reflect your district's specific needs and circumstances. Before distributing them, ensure the language has been reviewed and approved by District Administration and/or your District's Legal Department.
