SRP/SRM Train-The-Trainer Workshop

The Texas School Safety Center, in collaboration with the I Love U Guys Foundation, is hosting no cost Standard Response Protocol/Standard Reunification Method (SRP/SRM) Train-the-Trainer workshops.

Introduced in 2009, the Standard Response Protocol is a proven enhancement to school safety planning. The Standard Reunification Method fills a critical void in school safety planning: How to reunite students with their parents after a crisis. Also included in the training is a segment on Incident Command and how it relates to crisis management for educators.

This is a full day training, with the expected outcome that participants complete the training with the ability to perform the SRP classroom training, implement the program, train other trainers in their own district, school, department, or agency and handle advanced questions related to the SRP.

This training is open to public ISDs, open enrollment charter schools, junior colleges, school-based law enforcement, and state agencies that support schools. Due to limited seating, vendors and contractors are not permitted to register or attend the training.

Locations/Dates:

All workshops will be held 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

*Must attend entire training to be eligible to receive seven hours TCOLE Credit.
