COVID-19 Cancellation Notice

We are closely monitoring the status of COVID-19 to determine how best we can continue serving schools throughout Texas. With the growing number of cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) nationally, we have canceled all currently scheduled in-person trainings until further notice. AVAILABLE NOW: In an effort to continue providing Charter School Safety Requirements training during this time, we have transitioned this in-person training to a virtual format. See the updated information below on how to register for one of these virtual trainings.

Charter School Safety Requirements Training

Topics that will be covered include: emergency operation planning, assembling a school safety and security committee, conducting a safety and security audit, assembling a behavioral threat assessment team and other safety requirements that are now new for charter schools. This training will include a review of Texas School Safety Center resources and allotted time for questions and answers.
