Texas Bully Prevention Summit
Thank you to all who attended the 2014 Texas Bully Prevention Summit!
With more than 250 attendees, the Texas Bully Prevention Summit was heralded an outstanding success. The attendees returned to their respective schools and departments with new and innovative ideas on addressing bullying and overall school safety in their campuses. The Texas Bully Prevention Summit provided an exceptional opportunity to receive training on best practices in bullying identification, prevention, response, and intervention.
National presenters Betty Hoeffner, Devyn Rush, and JC Pohl were some of the highlighted keynote speakers. The Texas Bully Prevention Summit was a collaboration between the Texas School Safety Center, the College of Education, the Department of Health and Human Performance, the Center for Children and Families, and the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Texas State University.
