Welcome to the Texas School Safety Center's Utilities Toolkit. This Toolkit includes resources from multiple organizations and agencies to assist you with accomplishing multi-hazard emergency operations planning for your school district, open-enrollment charter school, or public junior college. Below, you will find a link to the Utilities Annex course, a list of annex and appendix documents, trainings, and additional resources. As future research is conducted, resources in this Toolkit will be updated.

Online Course

This toolkit supports the Utilities Annex online course, linked below, that will assist you with creating your district's Utilities Annex using the template created by the Texas School Safety Center.

This section includes documents needed to create the Annex and Appendix that will be attached to your Basic Plan.
Section 2.0: Trainings

This section provides information and links from multiple agencies to trainings not only directly connected to the online course, but also additional suggested trainings. Unless stated otherwise, all trainings are free for school districts, open-enrollment charter schools, and public junior colleges to attend. These trainings can enhance your skills and knowledge of school safety.
